Amnesty International

December is a month about giving and receiving but most important giving.
This is just a quick post about Amnesty International.

Amnesty International is a global movement of more than 7 million people who campaign for a world where human rights are enjoyed by all. We reach almost every country in the world and have:
  • more than 2 million members and supporters who drive forward our fight for rights
  • more than 5 million activists who strengthen our calls for justice
Our vision is for every person to enjoy all the rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights standards.
We are independent of any government, political ideology, economic interest or religion, and are funded mainly by our membership and public donations.

After more than 50 years of groundbreaking achievements, Amnesty International is now embarking on a major process of evolution, to adapt to the dramatic changes in the world we operate in, and to increase the impact of our human rights work.
We are introducing a new, global way of working – with a distributed centre and Regional Hubs of research, campaigns and communications – because we owe it to the people we work for to be the most effective force for freedom and justice that we can, globally.
As we develop this process – in line with the long-held desire of our international membership – we will post regular blogs, articles, stories and personal accounts to explain what is happening, and why it is important to those on the human rights front line.
Come with us on our journey by reading our blogs here , and then help us make a real difference to people's lives by becoming a member or supporter of Amnesty International.

In school we had a project where we wrote letters to prisoners of conscience. We spent half an hour writing and making a letter which can make a day to one person more than we expect.

Everything about organization you can find there.

Happy December to everyone!

Time away from reality*

Hello there (:

I know it's has been a long time but school has started and I was really busy.

Last week we had holidays and I want at seaside with my parents and family friends because they have a house there. I know it was a little bit cold for swimming in the sea but I did it anyway. We spent 3 days there and it was really lovely.

So we went to island in Croatia, named Lošinj. It's such a beautiful island and I was really glad to explore it with my best friend and family.

So I will post some pictures down below.

I hope you enjoyed it (:

My everyday makeup: Summer edition

Hay there (:

I thought I would show you products I used on my daily make up routine during the summer.

Because it's hot outside in summer I don't use foundation because I hate the feeling when everything melts on my face. I don't wear makeup when I am on holidays because I just don't see the point in that. I don't understand what's a good thing about wearing your ful done make up on the beach if it's ruins when you go in water.

Nevermid this is just my opinion. So if I go out and I want to cover my imperfections and acnes I put on Deborah BB Cream 5 in 1. It has SPF 20 and makes my skin feel fresh and moisturized.
I usually don't wear eye shadows on hot summer days for the same reason why I don't wear foundation.
And I think mascara is more than enough if you like fresh summery -beachy look. I use Maxfactor 2000 calorie dramatic volume mascara and it's my all time favourite because it just gives my eyelashes length and volume I like.
To define my eyebrows I use Catrice Eye brow stylist in 040 Don't make me brow'n.
And the last product I use Bourjois Healthy balance powder in 56 light bronze which has matt finish and gives me natural and healthy glow.

In summer time I believe less is more with makeup.

Hope you enjoyed (:

Small things make the biggest changes

Hay there (:

It's a quick post because school started this week and it's important year or me so I don't have a lot of time because there is a lot of work to do so I won't be posting every week.
I mentioned in few posts and on twitter that my room was having a makeover and I decided that I could show you few things I did to make my room even prettier and kind of place I like spending time in. (: I hope you'll like and get some ideas what you can put or change in your room (:

Sometimes it's hard

Sometimes all you need to do is to stop and breathe. There are and will always be days when you would like just to give up on you and everything else. No matter what happens you have to stay strong and true to yourself! At the time it's the hardest thing to do but you have no choice.
All over the world there are people who live with so little but they make sure they are grateful for every day they are given. And for that you have to be strong.

Last year was probably one of the most difficult and heartbreaking years of my life so far. Probably because I'm growing up and I'm realizing day by day what it's really important in life and I am afraid that I will lose those who mean everything to me and because I see bigger picture now. I know there is much more sadness and suffering in the world now. When I was a little people around me made sure I lived a childhood some children could only wish for and I am so grateful for everything I have. But it breaks my heart that there are people around the world who are the kindest and the most honest people but no one appreciates that. You have to make sure to try to find something in everyday that makes you look forward for future.
Nowadays we are surrounded with so much but some still have so little. And a lot of us don't appreciate what they have and they don't know what really matters. Everyone expect you to be perfect, person who won't break but sometimes it's hard!

Sometimes you feel like nobody cares, you're not enough, nobody loves you and you want to change for others to like you. And so many do that and this is the biggest mistake anyone can do.
I believe that you have to be who you are no matter what and stay true to yourself. You have to have your own voice and speak for yourself. You have to find a person down there somewhere and figure it out who you are and find things that make you proud of who you are. No matter what is your last name, what skin colour you have or how much money you own.

There are so much different people around the world, who I will probably never meet, and we all make living on Earth more difficult and interesting at the same time.
Mostly things that seem so important they aren't. Because the most important thing anyone can do is stay true to who you are. Because in the end you will always have to live with yourself and at the end you could be the only person who will never leave.

Life is a game you play with your own rules.

DIY: Notebook of your dreams

Hay there (:

It's hard to find notebook of your dream. Because of that I have a little easy DIY project for you. You can make your dream notebook for school about things you like.

All you need is one coloured notebook or if you use Akta (I mentioned it here) you can make your Cardboard file dividers prettier and less boring. You will also need a lot of magazines you like, paper glue and coloured paper.

First you have to cut text or pictures you like from magazines and decide what you will put on each notebook. I also did small cards from colourer paper for subject names. If you like how it all looks together you just need to glue everything and leave it to dry (:

p.s.: Because I use akta I did that with Cardboard File Dividers.
